Scope of Application:

As a type of strengthened glass with extremely high safety performance, tempered glass is processed from ordinary glass through physical or chemical methods, which significantly improves its mechanical properties and thermal stability. Therefore, it is widely used in various fields, such as building curtain walls, glass doors, indoor partitions, elevators, shop windows, building doors and windows, stair/balcony railings, skylights/lighting roofs, furniture, home appliances, etc.

Main Performances:

1. Safety: Quenching creates compressive stress in the glass to enhance its strength, so it is not easy to break when impacted. Even if it breaks, the fragments have obtuse angles and will not cause harm to the human body.

2. Impact Resistance: Its flexural strength is 3-5 times that of ordinary glass, and its impact resistance is 5-8 times that of ordinary glass.

3. Flexibility Resistance: Its bending strength is 2-3 times that of ordinary glass, and it can withstand greater external force deformation without breaking. It is suitable for scenarios that require load-bearing or force-bearing (such as glass table tops, load-bearing glass brackets).

4. Wind Pressure Resistance: It has the strongest wind pressure resistance, which is 1.5-3 times that of ordinary glass.

5. High Heat Resistance: It has excellent temperature difference tolerance and can withstand a temperature difference of 200℃-300℃ (ordinary glass can only withstand a temperature difference of about 50℃). Even in environments with sudden cold and heat (such as the glass surface suddenly coming into contact with hot water in winter, or being exposed to heavy rain after intense sun exposure in summer), it is not easy to crack due to thermal expansion and contraction, and its safety is much higher than that of ordinary glass.
