Scope of Application:

SGP laminated glass is a type of safety glass with SGP ionic (ionomer) film as the interlayer. It is widely used in curtain walls and doors/windows of various buildings, as well as in museums, laboratories, and indoor decorative partitions.

Main Performances:

1. High Strength and Toughness: It has strong adhesion to glass. Its shear modulus and tear strength are 50 times and 5 times that of PVB film respectively. Under the same thickness, its load-bearing capacity is twice that of PVB laminated glass, and its bending degree is only 1/4 of PVB laminated glass under the same load and thickness.

2. High Safety: After breaking, it prevents debris from scattering and retains sufficient residual load-bearing capacity. It does not fall off as a whole when bent, can resist strong winds, earthquakes, and violent impacts, and has explosion-proof and bulletproof properties.

3. Excellent Optical Performance: It has excellent transparency with a yellowness index below 2.5, reducing yellowing and greening. When matched with ultra-white glass, it is more transparent, fully meeting the needs of natural lighting.

4. Strong Weather Resistance: The film can withstand ultraviolet rays, water vapor, and external climate changes. It does not turn yellow or discolor after long-term use, with good durability.

5. Good Edge Stability: When exposed to the environment for a long time, the edges are less likely to have defects such as bubbles, degumming, and discoloration, making it suitable for frameless designs such as balconies and stair railings.

6. Low Hygroscopicity: Its hygroscopicity is lower than that of traditional PVB film. It can effectively block moisture intrusion, avoid bubbles and degumming, and ensure stable performance.
