As a company specializing in energy-saving glass production, Shenguang Energy-Saving has installed its self-produced energy-saving glass on all the curtain walls of its factory buildings. Passersby are easily drawn to the light blue glass curtain walls of the company.

"Since the factory was established, our positioning has been to develop high-end products," said Mo Wenshen, General Manager of Shenguang Energy-Saving. The company is one of the key investment-attracting enterprises in Liuzhou County, with a total investment of 200 million yuan. It is mainly engaged in the production of building energy-saving glass and aluminum alloy doors and windows, integrating design, production, and installation. It is also one of the enterprises with the largest glass output in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region currently.

When the reporter entered the production workshop of Shenguang Energy-Saving, they were immediately attracted by several large-scale production equipment.

"This is a tempering furnace, with a maximum processing size of 12×3.3 meters," said Wen Li, Customer Service Manager of Shenguang Energy-Saving, pointing to a large piece of equipment. Ordinary glass has low strength and is prone to breaking and causing injuries, but after processing by the tempering unit, it becomes high-strength safety glass. Currently, the access threshold for glass processing is not high, but only a few enterprises inside and outside the region can process high-quality, large-size products – especially those reaching the size of 12×3.3 meters.

Quality is crucial for a company's survival. Only by strengthening internal capabilities, producing high-quality products, and providing excellent services can a company survive in the market. Wen Li stated that the company has invested heavily in introducing advanced production equipment to improve product quality. For example, it has two imported insulating glass production lines, which are efficient, high-precision, and capable of automatic gas filling for insulating glass. At present, the company can control the bowing of tempered glass within 0.08% and the self-explosion rate of tempered glass below 0.1‰, which is far better than industry standards.

Reach Out to Seek Development

With the investment in a series of advanced production equipment and enhanced technical training for employees, Shenguang Energy-Saving can now produce high-quality, comprehensive products such as tempered glass, insulating glass, and laminated glass – especially with the capability to produce large-size products.

However, even the finest wine fears being hidden in a remote alley. Amid changes in the construction market and fierce industry competition, Shenguang Energy-Saving has also encountered significant challenges.

"To develop, we must go out," said Mo Wenshen. For the survival and development of the enterprise, at the end of last year, the company continuously formed teams to conduct visits and research in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, seeking new development opportunities. They learned from outstanding peers while visiting enterprises to expand their customer base. At the same time, they also organized customers to visit the company in person to understand the advantages of its products.

At the beginning of this year, to facilitate the expansion of its business in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the company established an office in Shenzhen to further strengthen visits and exchanges with enterprises in need of its products. Their efforts paid off: the company's products and production capacity were quickly recognized by customers, with orders growing from zero to one, and then gradually increasing. Currently, over 90% of the company's orders come from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the single-product volume is relatively large, with diverse product demands. For instance, they secured a 48 million yuan order for a Guangzhou Metro project.

Expand Overseas to Grow Stronger

As a representative of traditional manufacturing, the glass industry has gone through a long development process.
